Caldera

Caldera is a free, open-source social network for people who build on GitHub and write in Obsidian. Sign up with GitHub in about 30 seconds and your repos become a living city: buildings grow with commits, visitors to your sites arrive live, and your AI coding agents fly over the repos they're working in. Use Obsidian and your vault becomes a living profile that updates itself, plus a digital garden of notes you grow in public. Then meet people by what they build and write: add friends, join groups, link to each other's notes, share notes end-to-end encrypted, and post asks and offers. Private by default: public repos only unless you choose otherwise (private ones show as padlocked buildings with no names or code), your vault never uploads, and the plugin and hub are open source so you can self-host.
