Most review platforms let anyone write a review. The merchant invites the reviewer, or the reviewer claims they bought something, and the platform treats that as “verified.” Fake reviews, AI reviews, and refunded purchases all slip through because the source of truth is the merchant, not the payment processor. Signed Reviews is built for Stripe businesses that need reviews buyers can actually check. You connect your own Stripe account with read-only OAuth. Signed Reviews can see that a charge happened. It cannot charge, refund, or move money. After a successful charge, the customer gets a single-use invitation sent to the email on the Stripe payment, not an email you type in. No purchase, no invitation, no review. When they submit, the review content, charge ID, payment email, and timestamp are signed together with HMAC-SHA256. Each review has a public proof page with the amount, date, and signature. Optional social verification (GitHub, X, LinkedIn, Google, Instagram, Facebook) adds identity on top of the purchase. If the charge is refunded, the review is hidden automatically from the webhook. Links expire after 14 days. Customer emails are masked and hashed after the invite. You can collect reviews on the free plan with a hosted page, badge, and read-only public API. Paid plans from $29/mo send an automated request on every Stripe sale, add reminders, higher API limits, webhooks, and CSV export.
